C2C providers
A C2C provider facilitates an iDEAL | Wero payment directly between two consumers.
When you split a bill, pay back a friend, or buy from a private seller, a C2C (consumer-to-consumer) provider can settle that with iDEAL | Wero. The payment is transferred to the C2C provider first, who then forwards it to the receiving consumer’s own account within an agreed period.
Several familiar Dutch payment-request apps operate as certified C2C providers today.
Becoming a C2C provider
Your organisation needs to be registered as a payment service provider with a European regulator, and meet Currence’s admission requirements for the C2C role. See Become a Partner to get started — there are currently no Currence fees for this role.
